RITL · une revue catholique de foi et de lettres
Revue Internationale de Théologie et des Lettres
RITL is a Catholic journal of faith and letters, dedicated to serious writing in service of the Church's intellectual and spiritual tradition. We gather essays, encyclicals, books, and shorter articles that take faith and reason seriously, and treat contributors as partners in a living tradition rather than as students to be managed.
Writing that begins from belief, and is unafraid to say so plainly.
Maintaining the highest standards of clarity, argument, and editorial review.
Forming contributors within the Church's long conversation with itself.
Producing essays, encyclicals, and books that contribute meaningfully to Catholic letters.
Opening participation to writers and readers from all communities and backgrounds.
RITL exists to give faithful, careful writing a home. We publish essays, encyclicals, books, and shorter articles that take the Catholic intellectual tradition seriously, and we hold that work to a high editorial standard.
We aim to cultivate a community of writers and readers who bring faith and reason into the same room. RITL envisions a future where today's contributors become tomorrow's editors, sustaining a living culture of Catholic letters.
RITL aims to identify and publish thoughtful Catholic writing, especially from voices not otherwise given a formal platform, and to form contributors who will go on to shape this tradition themselves.
Operating across five editorial categories with a considered review process, RITL ensures all published work meets a high benchmark of theological seriousness and literary care.
Five editorial categories carrying the Church's intellectual and spiritual tradition into the present
